Default Basic Question but important to the starter end of Satellite Enjoyment

I Have obtained a 60 CM dish(Old analogue one in good nick) with a Universal LNB attached,If I buy the Technomate STB and align the dish to a digital satellite ,say 19.2 or Hotbird at 13 degrees ,will this combination of bits and pieces work?or Do I have to buy a Digital LNB?????or a digital style dish.I will be pleased to hear from the masters of course.

Should be fine - give it a go. You can't do any damage as long as your connections are good. Use some decent new digital-quality double-screened c@ble though.

If you find that you can't receive all channels, especially if they're all of high frequency for example, then change to a new 'universal' LNB.

It might be worth changing the LNB at some point anyway, as they're very cheap and don't last forever.

Your old one should get you up and running anyhow
