What exactly are you asking??

Any receivers wont work with a sky digital card, although fta receivers should work.

No Japanese channels are available direct from Japanese sats in Europe. There is on channel available off one of the European birds - JSTV - www.jstv.co.uk. Its NOT cheap to subscribe

But it is hacked wide open at the moment.

I wouldn't risk buying a receiver over there. They're cheap enough and guaranteed to work from the UK.

If you know which receiver you are interested in then you can do a price comparison from Eorpean sales websites and get it in Japan if there is a worthwhile saving.

If you only want Sky UK channels when you get back in the UK then your options would be either a Sky Digibox oe a Dreambox. If you want other european satellite broadcasts then the choice is much wider although the Dreambox would fill the bill.

Video gone AWOL on JSTV now, so maybe I just found it in a compromised state - although it was encrypted with Cryptoworks when I posted those shots earlier.

:?

[Edit] Video back again : Not sure that 'BS News' was such a good choice of name though! :roflmao:

Yes, Hotbird.

I don't think it's that kind of Japanese TV - I've been watching it on and off most of the day, and I must admit that it's refreshingly different. To everything!
