Default Oh Dear

I have Sky Star 2 pci card, progDVB and DVBViewer GE as a standby, Astra 1 FTA on 19E

It all worked well until last weekend, progdvb error message says 'Initialising the DVB device has failed' and the standby DVBViewer GE says 'Device not started'. Does that mean SS2 and how do I get it back please.

It has to be my fault somehow. In November 06 I installed progdvb and bought Elecard Video Decoder, installed and activated that. Then I installed new version progdvb over the top, then found I was getting pixylated videos.
A Russian guy said to do B after A. I think he meant reinstall and activate the Elecard Video Decoder after the new version progdvb, the decoder must have ran for a months evaluation and from that point wasnt activated, hence the bad race videos (I'd watched the races anyway and the vids may convert and clear later).

I uninstalled progdvb and Elecard and deleted any reference to them in Program Files etc, then downloaded and installed them both again and it worked, briefly. I couldn't remember how to get the 0192 or Astra..... info and how to transfer it to Settings and Thats where I think I've fouledup.

I had a rest and then tried my alternative DVBViewer GE but that wont fire up either.
So, if I've fouled up the 0192 info in one programme could that have affected the untouched standby programme OR could I have blown a fuse, or worse, in SS2 and what can I do now.

In Network Connections, does your B2C2 device (the Skystar2) show as connected or disabled?

If disabled, right click it, and select 'enable'.
