technomate 1000D queries...please help

Hi I had purchased the Technomate TM-1000 D a while back now, and didn't think of anything once most of the channels just seemed to have closed.
Only recently have I discovered "keys and patches" the only problem is I do not have a clue how to use them or utilise them.
I went on to the Technomate website today and downloaded the recent reciever update software (27 march 2007). I now would like assitance into how to obtain keys and how to input them so that I can unlock channels or even more information about this darkman patch I have been hearing about but have not been able to find. However there only seems to be one satellite that's able to work with my reciever so far and that is the Hispasat at 30.0,

I dont have a technomate but patching my box seem to be the same principle

you will need some form of loader on you pc an a nul modem cable to connect the two together

The rules here are not to give out patches ect but a google for alsat should give you the darkman info you need

Hi breyner_b,
a patch is an unofficial piece of software, so it is not available from the Technomate web site.
Have a read through the Technomate section, this should answer most of your questions:

With the latest patch, and after you've added the latest keys, you should be able to open the following packages, premiere, D+, TPS, Cabo, and a few other channels, giving you a lot of viewing choices. All you require is your PC and a null modem cable.

yep I've got a null cable and recently downloaded the darkmanpatch but it's 1.68 January 2006 is there an update, the second problem i'm currently having is entering keys to actually open channels. Thanks for your help so far, really appreciate it. thanks.

Hi mate,
Download the latest loader for the T1000 from the darkman's site (dated 30 dec 2006).
You then need to download the latest patch and softcam and send them over to the techy via the null modem cable.

Click on the software tab and browse to find the patch file (unzip it first).
Click connect then start and you'll see the display change on the techy (meaning it's recieving data from the pc)

Do not switch off the pc or receiver while you're transferring the patch or you'll fry the box.
Click finish when prompted and that's the patch in

Once you've done that, click on keys tab and browse for the softcam file (unzip it first)
Click connect and start and you'll see the receiver display change again
Click finish when prompted and go to any of the taquilla channels and they should be "open"

I've got a technomate 1600 and tps is still auto-updating using the latest patch.
You need to update the softcam regularly to open D+

If tps won't autoupdate (by finding a channel on transponder 10873 v, 27500. I use m6 music hits) you'll then need to send a daily bin file over via the loader. (tps tab)

thank you all very much for your help, I have managed to resolve the problem. now I just have one more query how do you open channels found on astra 2e which are on sky digital for example twc or sky one.

hi, i've just installed an 85cm dish with two LNB recievers, i have a technomate 1000d+, but i cannot recieve any of the channels, I get level of 96% but the quality seems to be the problem, how can i solve this problem, i have moved the dish in all the possible angles but it still doesn't bring up any channels..... greatful if anybody could help
