Here is my much loved Fibo stop Gregorian 1.2m dish 8)

I also have a 90cm Fibo stop. I am in the process of moding it to disecq motor, to run with my skystar 2 pci card.

My Channel master 1.8m is also very close to being installed.

M8, that is one tasty setup

Thanks for sharing the pics. She's a beautiful piece of work

Are you going to put the CM 1.8m up at the same time?

Thanks

The 1.8 will be going where the greg is now, concreted 3ft down and T & K`s attached to the shed, so should be strong enough.

I was going to sell the greg, but just cant part with it will probably wall mount it now, not sure. I will find room for it somewhere.

Very nice setup, I'd love a dish like that - but my house is facing North and there are loads of obstacles in front of it so my dish would have to be high from the ground...

What sort of range can you get from that?

I dont go past 28e or 30w But I have gone to 42e, I dont tend to drive it to the limits as the dish struggles. The motors are not very good.

The 1.8m will be used for sirius and thor both very week in s.wales. Also for show time on nilesat.

I have thought about that, but as It will probably be wall mounted, I want to keep the weight down.

Any way my 1.8m will have a big 24" actuator stretch!
