Al-Zawraa television, an Iraqi satellite channel that transmits from an unknown location, has been observed on 10 April to stop transmission on Atlantic Bird 4 satellite, which is run by Eutelsat Communications and located at 7 degrees west, which is the same orbital location as that of the Cairo-based Nilesat satellite.
Al-Zawraa has left the Atlantic Bird 4 satellite and is no longer available on the following transponder: * Frequency: 10873 * Polarization: Vertical * Symbol Rate: 27500 * FEC: 3/4 This transponder is used by Noorsat Global Satellite Communications, a private Arab company that provides satellite and terrestrial transmission services. Al-Zawraa, however, is still transmitting on Badr 3 [formerly Arabsat] Satellite 26 East via the following transponder: * Frequency: 11766 * Polarization: Horizontal * Symbol rate: 27500 * FEC: 3/4 It also transmits on Arabsat 2B satellite located at 30 degrees east via the following transponder: * Frequency: 12564 * Polarization: Horizontal * Symbol rate: 2170 * FEC: 3/4 Source: Clandestine Al-Zawra Satellite Channel in Arabic 10 Apr 2007 via Media Network Weblog
