Default Taken the plunge

Well after careful thought, alot of reading all the posts on the forum( fantastic by the way ), i have finally decided to get my first satellite system!!! If the weather is good this weekend i shall send the misses out shopping and try not to kill myself on the ladder!!

Technomate 1500 C+ super
Diseqc H-H motor
90cm Dish

Wish me luck lads, and any advice on setup or how to stop the misses from spending too much down the shops will be greatfully recieved.

Good stuff.

Read our motorised guide before you start, have a beer after it's installed, not before

I usually find that bending your wife's credit card firmly across the chip and/or applying a massive magnetic field to the card-reader strip on the back is a good way to keep the shopping budget under control.

If that fails, or your missus likes to buy online, then a call to the card company reporting the card lost or stolen is a good backstop.

Good luck with that install mate. Choose your dish location very carefully
