ART CARDS...

hi all,

just wondered if the've been anymore developments regarding art for next seasons footie.

i know showtime arabia won the contract to screen games , but did they sell any of there package on to art, or is it digitalb for next year on 16.e .

i've noticed people are still selling art cards on ebay, this is either a good sign or there blatantly ripping people off, just unloading stock on an on suspecting public.

I'm pretty sure that its the latter of your observations on Ebay Art cards ie people who are not in the know are getting ripped off >
Sellers that offer 12 month cards conveniently for them only mention in small print that Art Sport have lost rights to footie for next season!

so have art definitely not covering games anymore, and whats the next best thing whats the score with supersport?

I'm pretty certain that Art will NOT be showing PL footy next season

Put it this way I'd be prepared to wager the girlfriend on it but not the house

DigitAlb Supersport is probably the logical alternative, you can probably pick that up for about £150. Think they show 4 Saturday games (2 at 3pm) plus all the sly games.

Or if Premier is still open you could take a chance with that. I've read that they will show EVERY PL game next season

what sats premiere on, and what card would i need?

Premier is on 19E and is has been wide open for the last few months so no need for any card

I know it's open on the Technomate 1*** series and the Dreambox and probably a few more STB's as well. I would imagine the more 'up to date' cams will open it as well

Of course this could change at any time so Premier might not even be an option come the start of next season

I would imagine an official card would cost an arm and a leg over here >

premiere might not be available for much longer i heard rumours of them going to nds encryption but whatever happens i shall be getting premiere as its worth it if you can afford it

digitalb seems good value and i'm going to get a card for the movies and then upgrade to sports in august

Hi kev,if this is the case with Premier nexst year there wont be a crack without a price.mark my words here,this is why,there be wanting your money to watch football.the sad thing today this hobbie is full of conmen,& most boards are only intested in newbies.thank god this board is not one of them.Now on DigitAlb,what ****es me off with there cards is,thay give you a few channels that look good then turn them off.each year you here people upset by this so be warned.

To be honest sid when I heard this my reaction was "well that'll be the end of Premier then"

Maybe we'll both be proven wrong but the chance to watch every PL game free is probably to good to be true :?

well its obvious that they will be secure encrypted again as the amount of money paid for the rights will mean they cant lose money
