Default Help me...

hallo,
i am a new member on ur forum.
I have a dig. sat. reciever of Hirschmann CSR 2 CI. Where can i find it's update?

I am living in Europe (austria). Can I access Eurobid sat? I have a monoblock lnb- now enjoying Astra 1 & Hotbird (s).

Can I assemble with this Monoblock LNB another lnbs?
My dish is 60 cm.

thank u.
motta.

Looks like the official sites are

http://www.hirschmann-multimedia.de http://www.hirschmann.de & http://www.hirschmann-austria.at

Cant find any hobby sites.

Yes you can access Eurobird channels (assuming you mean EB1) - if you realign the existing dish to 28E or put another dish. You **may** need a bigger dish for some of the channels, and will def need a much bigger dish if you want the BBC or ITV channels.

EB1 & the Astra 2's are colocated. You will get all of them with one dish. BUT the 60 cm is probably too small to allow use of a monobloc successfully with one of the other sat locations. Put a seperate dish up.

I don't know your exact location in Austria, but there seems to be a common theme emerging (from the various reception reports I have found) that a good 1.5m dish is required to get anything much from Astra 2D (though some locations are reporting scraps coming in on 80cm dishes).

Other reports say that a larger dish still is required (like 1.8m or even 2.4m) for 24/7 reception.

Based on the fact that you are considering a multi-LNB setup on a single dish, I would have to say that this is not feasible if you want 2D and that two dishes would be better.

If I have the wrong end of the stick, please put me straight
