I have an old (about 6 years) analogue dish (80cm) with twin LNB's for hotbird and astra 19deg and am considering buying a Lemon 020 digital box to explore digital satellite.
Will the existing dish and LNB's mean I can just connect the Lemon box and away I go or wil I need to change the LNB's and secondly I note that most digital boxes only have an inpuit for 1 LNB so how does that work with a twin LNB set up as I have two leads coming into the house, one from each LNB. Thanks |

You need a disecq switch. -combines 2 3 or 4 inputs, into 1 output
You may need to replace the lnb's if they are the old enhanced type.

It won't do any harm to try your existing LNBs - you'll just be missing some channels. DiSEqC switches are all much of a muchness and can be had for £10 - £15 - less if you shop around on eBay etc.
Some switches have a compatibility problem with some LNBs, but only a small percentage. It's just pot-luck I'm afraid. Good luck. The Lemon is a nice little box, and can be 'patched' too to watch some pay-TV channels.
