Installed my 90cm dish on the weekend but didnt have enough time to connect it up. After several late nights during the week playing with the TM 1500c+ , spanner and sometimes by torchlight............i have finally got pictures!!!!!!!!!Just wanted to say thanks to all for the information and support, great forum and friendly people. ah well on to the patching now i suppose.

Yes - very well done - now mark the locations of the mounts against the pole with indelible ink, paint, tippex etc for when the winter storms shift everything......
Its MUCH easier to put it back if you have a starting point!

Great tip Analoguesat, wouldnt have thought of that one myself. at least not untill after the high winds. you have probably saved me a lot of hassle there m8.

Hopefully it will be one of those tips you never have to use, but if the dish does need tweaking after high winds then you will be pleased you spent 20 minutes doing it!
Look at the "chasing midnight" thread to see how many people here on this forum were having reception problems as dishes moved on their mounts http://www.satellitehelp.co.uk/forum...ic,2540.0.html I think most of the folks taking part had some problems as the new years gales lashed the country, and across the forums I saw report of no end of dishes registering "no signal" during that stormy period - plus a 1.8m totally destroyed ![]()
