Default overshot manual limits on moteck diseqc motorwhen setting up, help needed please

Hi,
I was setting up the manual limits on my new Moteck Diseqc motor that I got on Ebay. I didnt realise you were not meant to go past 75 degrees and went to 80 degrees seing as the dial was marked that far. Now I cant get back to 0 !!!
The manual in the faults part says if the motor goes more that 75 degrees and wont turn back it may be a malfunction with the limit switches module. Contact your vendor for repair. I dont have a vendor as i got it on Ebay and at the end of the day im sure its my fault. Has anyone had any experience with this and can help me out. Ive no problems opening the motor and manually tweaking the insides.
I know its not truely broken and i can still go in both directions just not back past 75degrees, when i reach it the red light goes on
Thanks in advance
Joel

Try by removing the mechanical stop and then driving the motor back to zero via the push button underneath the motor. Then replace the mechanical stop.

Also, have you tried issuing a command such as 'Go to sat position 2' as opposed to a GOTO x.x command?

You might be able to do that by telling your receiver you have DiSEqC switch instead of a motor, but I've never tried it. I only know how to do it via a raw command using my Skystar 2.

Using the button on the motor is also a good idea from BH
