Though I've had it burned onto DVD for a very long time, it's remained unwatched. Saw it on Channel 4 last night, and now I know why. What a load of rubbish!

Could have been condensed into an hour. I really like some of Martin Scorsese's stuff, but this was one of those films that made me feel a bit giddy and nauseous, like I was being tortured, had fallen asleep and then woken up too fast. If you know what I mean

Felt thoroughly depressed at the end of it!

I'll have a watch of Phone Booth next Saturday (which is also in my unwatched DVD pile) and I'm hopeful that it'll be a lot more enjoyable.

Nice to see a few 'big' movies cropping up on C4 ATM, regardless.
