With both ties still in the balance after the first legs, who will get a shot at the big prize in Athens?

Sometimes I wish I didn't like football either BH
![]() Can't remember the last time I actually relaxed and enjoyed watching a Chelsea game, always on the edge of my seat kicking every ball and shouting abuse (mainly at Ballack/Sheva). It was much easier supporting them when we were crap, we were usually expected to get beat so anything else was a bonus ![]()

I remember when Rangers were crap (not counting the last 2 seasons), back in the 80's. ![]() We used to go every week, (8000 at Ibrox), and cheer them on just the same, not expecting anything. Souness arrived, with a a big budget, and signed some of the best English players available, mixed them with some of the best Scottish talent around, and produced some of the best football I've ever seen. ![]() Every so-called Rangers fan in the UK, came out of the woodwork and jumped on the bandwagon. Next season, we couldn't even get a ticket outside the ground. :spite:

It is in the footy section, and I'm sure you recognise the team names ![]() Supporting a football team is real tough sometimes, but as a Chelsea fan, I'm totally confident that by this time next Wednesday, we'll know who we'll be playing in the final. ![]()

I should quantify my vote methinks.
![]() Going to an away ground in Europe with just a goal advantage is always a tricky experience IMO. The Italians can hammer you 1-0, and with KaKa and Seedorf in the team and Gattuso back, could be a tricky experience for Sir Alex. ![]() Liv and Che was a typically British game, with Che playing probably playing the best football between the two on the night. Different story going to Anfield, they seem to be performing better on th European stage of late. The race for the EPL Title may cloud the outcome of the CL, with the focus between the 2 managers. :? In any case , the 2 games were worthy of being the CL semi's. More of the same would do for me. ![]()

Not really BG, I just clicked on "Show unread posts since last visit. " and wondered what "CL final" meant.
