Migration of DD Direct from NSS6 to INSAT4B

Today I saw a notice on DD Punjabi channel showing that DD Direct is migrating from NSS 6 to Insat 4B by last may. The Parameters are also given by the channel as
TP Pol SR FEC
10990 V 27500 3/4
11070 V 27500 3/4
11150 V 27500 3/4
11490 V 27500 3/4
10570 V 27500 3/4
But LNB Freq is not given. Further alignment is 93.5 Degree east. i.e. a slight movement from the current position 95 Degree east, but what about azimuthal and Vertical angle position? And what about LNB angle? These are the questions yet to be answered.Kindly help me and a lot of viewers.
I want to know that keeping present channels in STB can one reinstall STB for this Satellite by following procedure?
Menu--Add New Channel---OK--Then filling the parameters as
LNB Freq 10600 TP 10990 SR 27500 Polrization V 22K on Mode Free Diseqc Off.
Will it make the difference or first one have to delete all the existing channels and then installing the STB by this procedure?

Insat 4B has not long being launched, its more than likely still on its way to it new position

Its highly unlikely that any broadcaster would change transmissions from one satellite to the other unless they were parked up in the same geosynchronous orbital position as it would probably cost millions to realign all of its customers dishes

You will probably find you will not have to do anything and the transition from one satellite to the other will be seamless and probably unnoticeable

Insat 4B is in position and ready to go - Insat took less than a month to shake her down and get her operational.

And Insat are indeed moving off NSS6 at 95E to Insat 4B at 93.5E. From what Ive seen they are getting the viewers to do the realigning

With a 1.5 degree seperation it *should* work ok - if signal strengths drop too far then just undo the dish bolts slightly and nudge it round westwards a few tenths of an inch.

Seems a bit of a financial risk to expect the subscribers to sort out the dish allignment. Not everybody is capable of realligning their dishes :? looks like the local sat companies are going to make a killing on this one

I can see thousands of realignments going horribly wrong as well

I think that there will be many 'realignment' companies set up to make a few rupees, and everyone will do quite well out of it

For your information, with such a small change in azimuth, you will not have to alter the elevation of affected dishes, nor will you have to alter in any way the skew angle of the LNB.

By the way, the TP figures you have given ARE the required 'frequencies'. If you mean the L.O. (Local Oscillator) frequencies of the LNB, then you will almost certainly find that no change will be required there either.
