Default The best satellite for sports coverage ?

hi guys , can you please tell me which sattelite is best for " football " coverage and its position ,

I will be getting a TM1500+ ( hopefully) with no special add ons ie cams etc, , and will use my existing sky mini dish and lnb , ive heard the Bristol area is a good signal part of the uk

It depends on which languages you are familiar with and if you are prepared to buy an official subscription card.

Probably the most football is shown on Hotbird 13E. That includes all English Premiership, Spanish and Italian matches.

thx JIm,

im not bothered about the commentry , as long as i can see it and its free really

So hotbird is 13deg E and abit higher , will that be ok with a mini dish ?

Yes a minidish should be ok but I cant guarantee the free bit. Some channels are open at the mo but wont be available all the time.

It's been a long time since a twin-satellite setup on both Hotbird 13E and Astra1 19.2E wasn't able to provide you with free Premiership football though (with the right equipment, of course)

You have to accept that it could all go off tomorrow. That's the deal here - unless you buy a subscription.

I guarantee Premiere will have tightened up the holes in their encryption by kickoff of the first day of next season.

If they havent then there will be a major key change at 2.55pm

that would be a shame cause id much rather loose D+ than Premiere if I was give a choice
