Hi mate I managed to get bda device and put into altdvb device folder and also registered the ax files as u mentioned when i right click on alt dvb and run tht with admin it shows me select device Dev bda driver, dev-dvb world ,dev pinnacle, Dev_twinham

In box down there i got error

cannot load Dwusb api.dll

You appear to have installed or selected the USB SS2 drivers. Is your card USB or PCI?

Hello dude I managed to fix driver shit 8) .I mean now it comes in video controller bda diver
When i open altdvb it is working fine i ahve to slect bda device and altdvb runs fine but the fing is i get no signal from sattelite dish imean ettelite dish is the one by sky and thts fitted by them its on astra sat with 19.E i recon.What you think what could be the problem?

If the dish was installed by Sky, then it was pointing at 28.2E (Astra 2). Have you moved it to 19.2E (Astra 1)?

YEs mate you are right that astra 2.but when i try to scan astra 2 eurobird channels through altdvb it comes up with no signal i am pissed off:S.I didnt change the direction of dish

.I dont know why its not catching the signals.I checked the connections they looks fine only one join in there.What could be the problem.

It could still be a driver problem. Do you have another receiver, Sky box etc. to test the dish on?

If it's not related to the PC/Alt-DVB perhaps you could do me a favour and start another thread in the General help section?

have you tried the sat4all version in the downloads section, this has all the whistles and bell already in the package
