Running Altdvb on Vista

After a lot of experimenting, I finally have Altdvb running ok on Vista.

It is necessary to right click the icon or Altdvb.exe prog and select 'run as administrator'. If you double left click, the prog runs in the background doing nothing. It is then necessary to close the prog via task manager.

I have also found that the codecs cannot be registered in the filters folder. It is necessary to put a copy of the .ax files in windows\system32 before running the registration batch file.

I installed Bds drivers for vista but techin sat comes up in sound vido controller and has question mark on it.Not working mate.
Any suggestions

Yes mine did that several times. You need to copy the drivers over to windows\system32 and try uninstalling and reinstalling again. For some reason Vista insists it is installing the correct drivers but it puts the wrong ones in.

hay mate I managed to install skystar 2 drivers on vista but the things is when i open prog dvb it says devicenot started no bda no skystar

And when i try to run altdvb it stucks there loading dev_skystar .int

and program crashes after that windows is checking solution for that.Kinldy gime me suggestion.Iam working hard to run it .

You need to run altdvb by right clicking on it and selecting 'run as administrator'

Then select the BDA card

where could i get the bda card from there is no bds carrd.When i open the altdvb it only shows skystar 2 car.in
mate where could i get the bds device card files?
