:roflmao:
I've got a mate who would carry it for you, if you dangled a bottle of cider in front of his nose for the journey.

Move your chimney, it will be easier.

Anyway, you will have to fit a new lnb and I dont think the mountings will fit. I suppose a bit of double sided sticky tape might work.

Certainly was an impressive place to visit

Shame it is not going to remain in its current format, the staff are unsure what , if any, presence is going to remain there

if anyone is planning a visit get in quickly

should anyone have cursed setting up their dish, check this out for a mount

Big dish "Arthur" at Goonhilly will have to stay - its a protected structure.

Did you have a play with the motorised dishes in the visitors centre. Not sure if they are still there as they were analogue systems :?

I remember the misses get upset because i wanted to see the end of Top Gear on i think it was either BBC World or BBC Prime. Definately an impressive place

I have also seen the uplink station at Madley near Hereford which is nearly as impressive

The motorised dishes are still there and can be seen at the bottom of each leg of arthurs A frame pic posted above

I did have a play with them and they gave a newbie such as myself a graphic insight into the way this stuff works and will help when i eventually get my motor drive up and running, too many projects, not enough life!!

I was absolutely delighted to find that I could force the joystick on the remote dish console in the visitor centre a bit further than it was designed to go, and could pick up some stuff from a satellite the bemused adviser there had never even heard of

The bus ride round the site was great. Merlin's pretty impressive too.
