Hi everyone,

I read today on Alsat that Art card is opening some Absat channels on Hotbird 11681H 27500 3/4 with a Technomate 1500.
I too have a patched Technomate (1600 CI) with Art card and the weird thing is frequency 11681 does not even appear on my channel list menu. Nearest is 11689 followed 12726. I did another blind scan on 13 degrees just in case but it's still the same.
Apologies if I sound ignorant but I am missing something? :?

Try deleting 11689 and then re-scanning. That might do the trick.

Did all that!

Transponder is now showing as 11680 instead of 11679!!! Absat channels are showing which didn't previously but are crambled

What now!!!!!!!!!!!

Is far as I can see only TM1500 and 5000 have opened Absat so far :?

It looks a bit hit and miss to me, doesn't appear to work with the Dreambox either.

If you can get it to work then just take it as an unexpected, but welcome, bonus

I've just checked it out here and it's clearing OK on my TM1500

Dunno if theirs out worth watching on it but still a welcome bonus

I'm sure I read that Art were bringing a card out with Absat so it might have something to do with that :? Don't take that as gospel though

Fortec Star also clears Absat --- at least part of the time.

I 've had Art card since February shortly after purchasing this Technomate 1600 CI system.

I have patched it as instructed with up to date loader/patch/keys. The only channels I seem to have acquired since then are the Swiss TS1 and 2. I did have VH1 and MTV France for a short while but they went quite a while ago.

I have manually added keys daily from Alsat and then try and do an update on France 4 but I don't seem to get anything !!!

(all it does now is put receiver in a loop on that channel from which I can't get back out of easily) >

you need to update to the latest patch and update on france 4 or espn classic etc. diablo cam is opening alot right now , purchase one of those ?
