There a are 2 pics of each damaged section. What I need to know is wiil the dish:- a) work perfectly fine even with the damage b) work perfectly fine if I try and straighten it out c) is scrap I just need this info before I contact the seller http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/Ish__/t01.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/Ish__/t02.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/Ish__/t03.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/Ish__/t04.jpg Thanks |

Hmm, I'd say that the little one would be fine if straightened out with a pair of pliers, but the big one looks like it may have tweaked the face a little.
Hard to tell from the photo's. The rim doesn't matter, but if the face itself is bent I would go back to the seller personally. Mine had a little ding in it when it arrived - much like the little one on yours. The face was fine, so I just bent it back.

Send it back and don't even think about trying to straighten it
![]() Get in touch with the seller as he should have paid for adequate insurance to cover the damage caused by Parcel Farce. If the dish face is bent it aint going to work properly ever again, end of story. It may work but not to the extent it would have done being in perfect condition. ![]() Let parcel farce and the seller do what they need to do, if your very lucky you might end up with a new dish and the old one. For what you would have paid for the dish i wouldn't accept it in that condition if it was mine so why should you. If a new dish is sent check it first before signing for it. It will p**s the Parcel Farce guy off but who cares :spite: All three of mine were sent by City Link and they all got here in one piece with no damage at all which was a huge shock as from what i've read City Link are usually Shi*e ![]() Dammit Stick you beat me to it ![]() ![]() Nano

no chance of using that as the dish face will be damaged aswell i bet as it has pushed the rim down the the reflector surface wont be 100% accurate
luckly i've got a new dish coming too but its an andrews dish so they would have so smash it up to damage that one due to it being smc fibreglass renforced |
