Default USB turntable - gimmie or gimmick?

If you had tons of vinyl to digitize, this might be a neat solution. It could also be a piece of junk!

I have a large collection of dance music on vinyl, and I kinda like it that way. The rest of the family would like to turn my record storage area into some other dark place where they can store more shoes or duvets or board games that nobody plays or stacks of paintings kept from the kid's days at nursery or....

I don't know about that particular one, but I wouldn't buy that one. I DJ over the internet and at live gigs and I've found that cheap 'digital dj' things really are nasty. If I were you and you really wanted to convert them, buy the following:

__http://www.behringer.com/UCA202/index.cfm?lang=ENG or if you have firewire __http://www.behringer.com/FCA202/index.cfm?lang=ENG

Then buy a cheap numark turntable.

I'd never seen a USB turntable before, and thought it looked an interesting concept.

What you've posted is far more interesting though

I'm having one of those right now!

I already have a nice (if cheap) Dual turntable.

Bloody hell, that's a cheap gizmo gav.
I think the missus's purse will get burst into eventually (been locked out of late I'm afraid. :spite: Bloody monthly pay sucks)

I messed about with some :quote: Clean, software about a year ago, converted a few old lp's but it was a right old hassle and took up a bit of time. Gave up in the end.
