Default Virgin Medias Systems are down.

Just gave them a ring, and their Customer Support computers are down all over the country, as are a lot of their broadband connections, and some TVs.

Its huge man, and I guess they're going to lose a lot of money from it.

Its probably got something to do with their recent speed upgrade.

Shocker.

Been fine here all morning

I know Jimdefriuit is on the previous NTL system is that the same with you Gav :?

Been fine on the old Telewest systems down here, im guessing its NTL areas that are out atm

AFAIK VM haven't totally integrated the old Telewest and NTL systems yet which would explain a lot if it was just the old NTL cutomers that had the outage.

Lol, I'm on the ex Cable:Tel system, which was in the ex-ntl system.

I'm getting the phone and TV and broadband put in today, and when I called up they said their Customer Support systems were down and a lot of people are getting faults appearing aswel (probably because nobody in customer/tech support can control anything)

Its back up now, but their are still loads of problems over the country apparently.

I know a friend of mine whos on the same network whos internet still is down. Bit of a bum though 'cause the engineers coming to mine to put the internet in between 1 and 6 today.
