Default Thor 1 (derelict)

Thor 1 started out life as MarcoPolo 2 (BSB2) and was launched on August 17, 1990

MarcoPolo 2 was acquired in-orbit by Telenor of Norway in 1992, and renamed Thor 1. It operated at 0.8w until January 2002 and was then powered down.

During November 2002, it was moved to 7.4W, and was powered back up to broadcast digital test signals into Scandanavia.

It was sent into junk orbit during January 2003 four months before its sister satellite BSB1/Sirius1
