Ive searched the other forum and it says to enter keys , which to me look like a series of numbers and letter !!!


I think its done through the handset , by pressing certain buttons ? ,

Do I have to be on the channels to open them ? what are the channels called on my program menu ?

All ive usually done with my TM1500 is gone to the encryption menu , selected nagravision from the list , and watched programs here only , (premierer but now they seem to have all gone , so where is D+

I'm sure one of the Techno owners will walk you through using the remote to punch keys, or you can load a softcam file (already containing the keys) using the same loader you used to load the original patch.

Yes, keys are just a string of hexadecimal numbers and letters (0-9 and A-F) but they do vary in length, and you have to know which one is which - they have a 'key' of their own, so you need to know the encryption type code (CAID) the provider ID (PROVID) and key index (usually a two digit number such as '00' or '01' etc.)

The channels with the D+ "testcards" on them are the data/interactive channels.Theres about 30 of them and they show up on various receivers..

Try TVE1 or La2. If those open then you have done it correctly.

The keys for D+ have recently changed and are now available, when you have the new 01 key, which for a Technomate requires loading in lines 20 and 21.
These instructions are from Echelon.
d+ key entry
Press mute then exit when you are on a D+ channel
It will show you
Nagravision
Digital+(4001) Ohaladin
Remember to change the lines from 00 to 20 and 01 to 21 for Technomates, this will only work if your receiver is already patched.
