My good lady wife can't tell the difference between caviar and frog spawn (which is probably why she married me) and wouldn't notice if her LCD had enough dead pixels to mimic the Turin shroud.
What I mean is, that some people just don't see these things. Only perfectionists like you and I

Huh, my wife can't watch DVDs now, 'coz I used to video editing guru (not anymore) and explained her all about encoding artefacts, MPEG blocks, interlacing issues and such. Now, when she's watching DVD, she can spot artefacts immediately and then she is starting to complain about it. This means, I can't watch this DVD either.
