Ok hands up - who remembers these 2 craft??
No didnt think so.... Two Chinese built Russian craft, the Gals satellites had a complicated history and operated at various orbital slots above Russia & China in the 1990's. Both were out of service by late 2001. This is a representative footprint for when they were operating in Russian skies.
