DigiTurk selects Tandberg for major upgrade
DigiTurk has placed a major order with Tandberg Television as the DTH platform prepares to launch high definition and on demand services.
Tandberg’s local business partner Broadcast Muhendislik is deploying statistical multiplex decoders. Tandberg EN8090 MPEG-4 AVC encoders will be used for the delivery of high definition signals, while E5770 and E5775 MPEG-2 encoders will support standard definition MPEG-2 distribution. The new MX8400 will provide IP Multiplexing and the Xport on demand content production system will support the video-on-demand services.
