Hi
There are many German sellers on e-bay.It not wrong for them to sell on uk e-bay.But it can be misleading and they know you will not return goods because of postage charges.
And it can be difficult to get e-bay to do anything. They take ages and unless a great amout of money involved its not worth the hassel.

Just resell your self on e-bayand cut your losses.

Hi
I am no expert on dishes. But like anything else you get what you pay for.My self I have always used mess dishes and had many years of use.And they are very sturdy not like some solid once and they stand upto high winds better. And a good lnb arm and collar.
Look here and see the reall prices of triax so you can see why yours was so cheap.

Fortecstar are ultra budget end of the range.

Remember your current dish will work fine in the UK even if its not quite what you expected - 4 of my operational dishes are secondhand salvage jobs and they are perfectly adequate

Yeah, I think Sid's right - looks like a cheap Lidl dish. The Fortec Star dish from Maplin isn't much better.

eBay are useless in this situation - just write it off and re-sell it. I'm having a similar problem with a £60 mobile phone at the moment. They don't want to know. Just leave them some **** feedback and move on.

A good UK seller (even if mail order) is the way to go IMO

Ebay seam quite interested in my problem as its misrepresentation.

I know but I liked the retro Amstrad look and the folding arm of the triax put me off, I could see it bouncing up and down in the wind
