New dish is total C##p

New dish arrived today and is nothing like it picture.

It supposed to be gray with the LNB arm coming from underneath it, well its beige with the LNB arm coming through the bottom of it, it very cheeplooking and the bit at the back that the dish and mounting fits to is made of plastic they have a 14 day return policy thankfully. Will be going for the Triax TD64 from Satellite Superstore I think.

The humble Triax is cheap and cheerful, but it gets the job done and it's pretty tough.

I cant belive it, the dish was sent from Germany, to send it back will acording to the post office cost £45+ looks like I'm stuck with it.

might be a triax dish if the lnb arm goes through the dish face as mine does

Dont worry about the plastic fittings on the back of the dish - my 1m Orbital dish has them as well, and its rock solid

Doesn't scream quality dose it. and nothing like the one pictured and described on ebay (see previous post for link)

hI M8 your right the dish looks cr*p,i think there one of the lidl dishes.Thay sold the 80cm for £15 i think.How much did you pay for that dish?

£22 plus £10 postage. > and he wants me to send it back to Germany Will be getting Ebay/Paypal involved if he hasn't answered my email by tomorrow. I thought it looked like the ones I Had seen in Lidl before.

Hi m8,if its going to cost £45 to send back 2 germany,just put down to a bad by.For a start its more than the dish is worth,some you win here some you lose.you should be ok to use that dish on 19 east i think.As for the £45 if your not happy put it in getting another dish from a shop in the uk.Your not be the only one to get a bad deal from ebay.Sorry to here on your bad luck,but you wont be the last 2 do this.
