Tried to access my new toy from work this morning. No success yet - I'll look at the configuration of the port forwarding on the router this evening - if thats not set right it will never work.

And I need to double check the slingbox ID - I was playing around with the settings Sunday morning - did I change something I shouldnt have?? :?

Hi analoguesat,

Not sure what you're trying to do but I have forwarded my dreambox ip address to port 80 on my router (this is the http port). If I enter my modem ip address into a browser, I get the web interface from the dreambox...allowing me to schedule recordings if I forget or stream to another PC.

Forward to port 21 of you want to have ftp access.

Still no luck at work yet (probably our corporate firewall), but Stick has had it running this evening from Galashiels to Brighton
