BSkyB taking on FAPL? Yes that would be interesting, and there could well be a case to answer there if they botched the overseas contracts or fail to have them enforced properly :?
I agree totally with what you say about going after publicans, but the big boys are going to try and protect their interests, and if that means terrorising and jailing a few innocent landlords to deter the rest, I'm sure that won't bother them. As for the free movement of goods and services in the EU, you and I both know that as far as satellite TV is concerned, that's b*llocks. If the providers were to play fair on that front, I wouldn't be running this site, ftasat.co.uk or nosky.co.uk - because we'd all have freedom of choice, pay a fair price and get good service. ![]()

I'd very much like to see the european commission get involved, just as they have with Apple's country lock-in and district pricing. http://europa.eu/rapid/pressReleases...guiLanguage=en
Yes, itunes have so far done completely nothing to address the issue, but if a statement of objection as such came out for FAPL/BskyB/whoever then they'd surely be nuts to start sueing people against the letter of the word in the statement. |
