in really into linux so this has to be the right path for me

typically have to go away now for a few days was wanting to make some prep before it arrives

what file would people recommend me start to play with first?

and is TPS AU working on this box yet?

I'm only going to be able to help you in general terms, as it's different from the Dreambox. TPS will probably only work using SBCL, and is not really 'AU'.

I would spend a week just examining the existing system, file structures etc. and see what you can work out for yourself first using FTP. Things will stick in your mind better that way. You can have a read of this too:

... then maybe have a go at installing DCCamd manually for Premiere.

excellent another tm9100 user, was getting abit lonely in here just having one myself

good luck with it as its a quick learning curve

current things open on tm9100 are digital +, cabo on any of the cam emus evocamd, cccam, mgcamd etc

premiere is open via sbcl program when receiver is connected to the pc

a good image to start off with is juliet 006 as i have this running with evocamd 2.14 and sbcl via pc for premiere

i used wizardsatellite to get mine it came in 2 days
