Default 4oD to carry Nat Geo docs

National Geographic Channel content is to be made available to subscribers of 4oD, Channel 4's new video-on-demand service.

The content will be made available via a dedicated National Geographic Channel-branded area within the 4oD service, including docs such as In The Womb, Air Crash Investigation, Inside 9/11, Da Vinci Code and America's Hardest Prisons and Nat Geo Wild programmes such as Most Amazing Moments and The Dark Side of Elephants.

George Jeffrey, MD Europe National Geographic Channels, said: "This deal signifies National Geographic Channel's focus on, and dedication to, the non linear and on-demand environment, keeping pace with the fast-changing consumption and behavioural changes we are experiencing in today's world"

National Geographic Channel is also available on other VoD services including Sky, Virgin Media, BT Vision and Tiscali.
