Default Expired Subscription Cards

Ok being a moderator please feel free to slap me down on this one as i honestly don't have a clue

Right i know that Nagracards can be unlooped/reprogrammed/Mosc'ed but can anything similar be done with other cards, I.E can they be used to store stuff on or reprogrammed in the same way as the already said Nagracards :?

Just wondering as i have the following small collection of cards which are being kept ready for winter for scraping the ice of the car windows.

OnDigital Seca1
Televest Nagra Rom 10
Old Sky NDS card (light blue Digital)
Older Still Yellow Sky Analogue card
TopUp TV Seca 2
DirecTV P5 access card
Firecrypt Access Card 9

Any ideas :?

Yeah - keep them nice and safe for the winter

Or try flogging them to collectors on ebay!

Quite a few different types of cards have been MOSCable in the past, but your little collection is only in competition with the de-icer spray : )

Just what i thought ops:

I think i can still use the Nagra Rom 10 card if i wanted to use it with c@ble but to be honest i don't really have the inclination to do so. Could have something to do with the cr@p channel line up that VM have in my area and me being allergic to being arrested by the babylon

Um indeed - quite why anyone with a permanent return line (any c@ble subscriber) would risk dodgy chipped c@ble boxes is beyond me.

I was under the impression that these "chipped" cable boxes were modified,so that they couldn't communicate with the headend and therefore undetectable,is that not the case then? :?

They can be detected if an engineer is working on one of the street boxes near the cloned or modified box, all the chipped boxes have the talkback disconnected but that doesn't make them undetectable it just makes them harder to detect

Most people that have been caught have either been grassed up or have been unlucky enough to have had their boxes detected by an engineer

Nano

I'm closing this one now as its starting to verge on talking about c@ble
