Install VideoLan making sure you tick the ActiveX box as in first picture
![]() (Also install Mozzila Plugin if you use Firefox as your browser) Open up your web browser and type in the IP address of your box. You will then be greeted with a password box like the one below or a slightly different one dependant on your web browser. Insert the username as Root and and password as what ever you have set it up to. If you haven't set it up it will either be dreambox or it won't have one. This is usually dependant on the image running ![]() You will then be greeted by either the same Enigma web interface or a similar one depending on the Image running on your dreambox. This one is Nabilosat v0.8 on the 7020 ![]() On the Enigma web interface click on the tab with VLC on it. This should by rights then start VideoLan and display what you are watching on your dreambox ![]() Continued on the next part of the thread

From within Videolan click on the video tab which will make a dropdown box appear. Click on snapshot and it will save a screen snap shot by default on XP Pro to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\My Pictures.
It may well be in a slightly different location on different flavours of Windows ![]() Thats how you do it ![]() There are other methods if you have a TV card installed etc etc but i find this the cheaper option ![]() ![]() Nano

Thanks Nano
![]() If you have a Dreambox and no VLC, then frankly you're missing the party. One of our other guides can be found in the general Utilities section. I've left it there on purpose, because it has a rather nice ranking in Google if you type in "dreambox streaming" ![]() http://www.satellitehelp.co.uk/forum...pic,137.0.html
