Hi satsid
If your looking for a cheap hd.The pace hd which was £299.00 is now available for £80 to £100.
Yes there has been problems. But i belive this week a new over the air update was availble which fixes issues with cam recognition and the reset issue.
So it seems to be getting better with each update.
Like any new product it takes time to get it right and most need upgradeing to get things right.
Also i have read the hd on there is as good as it gets.So very cheap to play with.
Also it works with diablo cam on premier.

Any free to air HD receiver will be prety useless. Only a very few HD fta channels and they are only experimental at present

Hi jimdefruit
Yes quite true butI am sure the hd channels will increase in time. The pace has a ci slot which also allows a suitable cam to decrypt scarambled channals.
So pace is still a good buy if more issues are resolved.
One of the problems was premier hd were opening but a banner was still coming up saying scrambled. So for £80 to £100 sometyhing to play with

Thanks Albert. I read the FTA bit literally but if it has a CI slot, a bit more is possible.

Hi satsid
I have looked at the eycos s55.12 PVRH.Looks good and has Ci slots.Dr dish gives good reports. But mainly german receivers. It seems there has been a couple of updates for the s55.12 PVRH.
There does not seem to many problems.Cannot comment on what the ci will takes as far as cams concerned.Seems quite expensive maybe because of fixed hardrive.
So i will stick with my cheapy pace.As now it is more stable with latest software update and sees more cams.
If you do a google search for EYCOS Forum That maybe usefull it is German but you can translate.
