Thanks Nano.
You are spot on with that first aid.
Plucked up courage to try to re-install darkman 150607 off laurals.com and it failed again. (I wonder if this is labeled up wrongly and is for another model?)
So had to re-do it again.
However, good news was that I could follow your process (click connect as you turn the power on) with the latest darkman loader (not the pukka tm loader) and with the last darkman patch 110507 and it all worked as is back to as was.

So the question is, is the 150607 patch duff?
Will wait until the next path is released me thinks.

Either way thanks for the super-fast response and saving me a good few quid on the ebay freeforall.

Its on the a l s a t forum mate The one on laurels is the old one that knacked everyones receiver

It was sorted after a few hours of being released. You will also need to use one of the TM softcams on the site as there is a problem with the D+ AU. The softcam stops the receiver from scrambling the keys after you input them manually

Sorry i cant give you the URL for obvious reasons :?

Just a quick update.
I phoned Technomate who were very helpful. They suggested that it was probably the power source and were able to send me a new one for £28. Fitted it today - problem sorted.
