There's no flies on Kev

These are all areas where bundle-sellers will try and save money.

hello, thanks for your help so far

the guy is offering a 100cm aluminium dish, is this ok or am i better of going for a mesh dish?

Also he said the package can come with tm1000d+ or 1500ci+, which of these is better?

Dishes do vary in quality slightly, but that sounds OK. If it was really crap, it wouldn't be aluminium!

The two Tecnomates are almost identical internally, with the only difference being the card reader and cam slot - so it depends if you think you will ever use them. They both use the same patches and open the same channels.

i was more worried about conditions affecting the dish, we do get some quite strong winds in the north east, was worried this could de-align the dish he offered?

A mesh dish won't make a lot of difference IMO. Mesh is mainly used to save weight, not reduce wing loading.

Concentrate on a good mounting system. T&K brackets are excellent when bolted to brickwork using the correct fixings. A large groundstand is a good alternative too if you can get Line Of Sight.

took a few hours but we got it installed on Saturday afternoon. Big problems getting the cable over the roof (dish is at back of house), in the end (i don't recommend this), i half climbed out the bedroom window and through the cable over.

to get the best line of sight for the dish he's mounted it on a pole

everything is working well, well happy cant wait for the football season to start
