Default 2 dishes

> Pleasr help me I am new to the satellite world. My wife is Greek & I have just bought a small dish & receiver but have an old dish from years ago. Can I put the two dishes up & align one to Hellasat 39e & the other to Hotbird 13e & then put the cables into a Y piece & then only use one cable to go into the house. If so then I assume after setting up that I can then just switch beteen diashes with the remote. Any help will be appreicated.

I have removed the poll as it wasn't required, all you need is a disecq switch, which connects both LNB's to your receiver, you then can set your receiver to automatically switch between dishes when you change channels.
They are very cheap, and relatively easy to set up, if you do a search on the forum you will find lots of members using them in preference to a motorised set up.

what size are your dishes as you will need a large dish to pickup 39east 90cm should do it and hotbird should be fine on 80cm or even 60cm
