well i recieved all my new hardware technomate 1500 1 metre dish and motor ,bolted all things together very simple ,run cable from back south wall to front of house thru the roof space all neat and tidy, then i had a good look at that wall mount ,very sad looking object i dont think it would be too stable in a light breeze so as luck would have it i have a good friend in the fabrication industry so iv left it with him ,in the meantime iv fixed the dish to an old sky bracket to check that it all works but have not fitted the motor as yet, success lots of channels ,
is there information i can access to help with setting up the motor ect when i get my new wall mount back ,any advice is very much appreciated

Welcome to the forum m8
![]() We have a full installation guide here. One of the main problems with motorised installs is that folks fail to get the mounting pole exactly vertical, which is why it's best to use T&K brackets or similar - as they allow adjustment of the mast component once you have bolted the brackets to the wall. You might want to mention this to your fabricator mate. Some old angle iron welded up and powder coated or hot-dipped will do the job. The one-piece mounts are not really suitable, as well as being too flimsy.
