Default calling sky update

I think I'm going to cry, just called Sky, 08702 40 40 40, after about four sessions of press this, press that, didn't have too much trouble explaining what I wanted, I have FreeSat and pay no subscription for anything, so the idea is to get Sky+ and then have a couple of mixes on subscription, a helpful man took all my details, phone number, address, full name ect. and then asked for my password, I said I don't have one as I have no account, asked for all the details again, and asked for password, he then said he would pass me on to someone else, after a lot more options, I think, from a lady, but I couldn't understand a word she was saying, after a pause I was told, " cannot understand your reply so cannot help- goodbye "

So that was that. :'(

Phone them back and tell them you want the full package, they'll have the first months subscription out of you're bank before you've put the phone down m8 >

Sky CS is real hit and miss. A couple of times I've phoned they've been excellent, other times they've been dire.

I'd just keep your Freesat card (or sell it - it's worth a few bob) and just sign up as a new customer on the web.

You get online offers and whatnot (inc. another free receiver ) and of course another card which itself turns into a Freesat card if you unsubscribe.
