Default any closer

hi to all well im up and running well kind of ,iv managed to find thor and seem to be edging on many other satellites any advice on my next step to setting up that elusive arc will be much appreciated and the constant rain does not help

Well done mate,
No it doesn't as we should be in 'tee shirts and ladder' weather at the moment.

The thing to do now is see how far west and east you can "see" with your reciever and make fine adjustments a few mm at a time to peak it.

You've cracked it just think of the next (most time consuming) bit as polishing.

Keep us informed of your new satellites as these help everyone, and KEEP ASKING FOR HELP should you need any pointers.

I wrote a basic fine-tuning guide for our portal here:

It's not chapter and verse, and there are no hard and fast rules - it depends where your errors are - but it should help to get it closer.
