There is a great little script you can install to download a fresh key bundle without any messing about too.

The symbols are the encryption type. I=Irdeto, N=Nagravision, S=Seca etc. etc. Some channels are transmitted in more than one type.

Your Sky card will work using Newcamd without making any mods. Just select it via the blue button and restart the CAM, then insert your card.
Hi All,

Stick - Where do you find the script to dl the new keys list as I cant see it from the blue button??

Have had a go with flashwizard pro, no probs apart from my (unbranded) 256mb USB stick does not work in it! although I have managed to get a 1gb Jessops CF card to work will not format from the box though just flashwizard! Installed some other images on the CF but cant seem to get all the chanels that I get with Gemini ?? also atm Gemini is the easiest and best looking!

Thanks for the heads up on the mgcamd works a charm

Can someone let me know what HDD I can fit and to what size as I may have a look around in the week. Also can I use a CF and HDD at the same time in a 7020 as I see people were having problems with both on the 7000.

Cheers guys....

You can fit a 300Gb drive and I think there is still a conflict with CF and HDD together on the 7020, but I'm not 100% sure, so try it and let us know.

I'll see if I can find where I got the update script but I'm mega busy today, so remind me in a day or two if I've forgotten.

Yes, a 3.5" IDE drive. You can also use 2.5" drive I believe. Try and get a low-power unit, built specifically for an STB. Seagate make a good range, and I believe are the standard fittment for the Dreambox 7020 now.

5400 RPM drives are recommended, as it tends to keep the noise down - but I know plenty of folks who have been perfectly happy with 7200 RPM drives.

Mounting rails are pre-installed, but you'll need power and IDE cables.

I found an 8GB HDD from one of my old Xbox's laying around and it went straight in and formatted OK

Just to confirm my multiboot with the CF card works with HDD installed on the 7020

Question - How do you delete items off the HDD?? ops:

I do all my file management via FTP. I use WS_FTP Pro, but any good client will work.

As far as the script goes, type 'satankey updater' into Google and swipe it off Ragabbader's forum.

Unzip and FTP both files to /usr/lib/tuxbox/plugins on the 7020 (/var/tuxbox/plugins on the 500 - 7000) and chmod 755.

Brings key updating at the press of a button to any image. Excellent plugin. Gemini - just press blue button and go to the 'plugins' submenu to execute. Has worked flawlessly for months.
