Hi to everyone!
Currently i have a 120cm oval dish and a 0.3dB LNB (Inverto). I would like to receive English free to air channels. My goal is to connect to a satellite which has some interesting channels, like movie channels. It has to contain at least one music channel. First i looked for astra1 (19.2E) on www.lyngsat.com. I don't really like that satellite, because almost (99.99%) every channel is in German, and i can't understand even a word. Then i found Eurobird 1 which looks great. When i went to www.lyngsat.com and searched for Eurobird (28.5E) every channel is clear, i mean free to air. But everywhere is that "Sky Digital" logo. In the UK you can watch those channels using a Sky Digibox with a Free to View card, but can i view those channels In Serbia (Europe). I have a SkyStar 2 PC receiver. Or is there any other satellite? |

About half the channels on the 28E satellite cluster (Astra 2A Astra 2B Astra 2D and Eurobird 1) are in the clear.
The channels in green on this list are the scrambled ones: http://www.flysat.com/28east.php You might have problems with the Astra 2D channels in Serbia.

No other satellite location can hold a candle to 28.2E for English FTA.
If you want to get into illegal satellite reception, then there are a couple excellent packages currently open on 19.2E, including plenty of movie and music channels which have an English audio option. Use lyngsat to look up the Digital + and Premiere packages if you're interested.

The same as you're doing at the moment, but naked in a public place
![]() What you'll need, is an MD-plugin compliant viewer application such as ProgDVB, AltDVB or DVBDream, a copy of vPlug V1.7.7, s2emu V1.2.8.1 and a full set of key files. Chuck everything into your chosen application's /plugin folder and away you go. Read all the readme files, but basically, everything goes in the one folder. You can get all this stuff from skystar-2.com as well as many other places.

Are there english channels on astra 19.2, encrypted ones?
And can I watch the scrambled channels on eurobird1 using the keys? Do I have to download all the keys from skystar2.com? I downloaded everything and extracted it into the /plugin folder, now what do I have to do to watch the channels? I'm using ProgDVB. |
