Same as my brother in Northampton, he gets a number of c@ble channels also. But not signed up to c@ble.BH

That would be because most cable cable is rg59 and the shielding on that is treble. I did pick up our sky once pointing an aerial in the general direction of the sky box. was snowy though.

Or alternatively you can just plug the c@ble straight in to the back your TV

I don't know about any other areas of the country but down here VM aren't even bothering to scramble their analogue c@ble broadcasts anymore. They are mostly in the VHF waveband so only certain TVs can receive it with the few exceptions of the usual 5 terrestrial channels which are in the UHF band, although saying that their isn't really that much on analogue now as they are making the push to get everyone on Digital

Not sure about the legallities of receiving it as it isn't encrypted the same as satellite feeds which i don't think are illegal to watch although i'm sure somebody knows the answer
