A couple of weeks ago my parents came up for a visit. With them was an old Pace sky digibox which they had grabbed from a friend which was on its way to the tip.

Just finally got round to testing it. Not only does the box seem to work fine, but the card is still active on one of the family packs! An added incentive to get the dreambox connected onto the 28E dish

so you got a feed from the 28e dish into your switch already ?

Not yet - the 8 way switch is in place but its been raining up here for weeks. The last really good weekend seems to have been when I put the new dish mount up a couple of months ago

Sadly the card has expired over the weekend and is now a plain ftv card.

least you have a ftv card for your setup as do you have your dishes and then the sky setup for your other half ?
