Default Re: motors for channel master dishes ?

just been up on the flat roof below the dish as i can stand up and have a look what to do

for the time being think i'm gonna keep up the current system as measuring up i'd need even longer brackets to have it up.

as the guttering over hang is 9 inches and my current what i thought were 18inch t&k brackets are actually measure 16inch to centre of the pole, got them from maplins so not surprised

24inch would put the dish too far out from the wall i think, would that be an issue ?

hiring my current dish up about 2 foot would that make a difference ? ideally i'd like to put it where the sky dish is now see in the pic above

Not sure how high it needs to be, but nothing wrong with 24" T&K, which would probably measure around 22" stand-off to the pole.

They will easily hold the weight if your fixings are good.

fixings are sleeve anchor bolts, i'd have to mod the holes on the brackets to fit current fixings though

just scared of it ripping the bricks off the wall

Should be absolutely fine. I wouldn't have any concerns about doing it, and I'm very cautious.
