![]() I wonder how many others have done what I did ?? :roflmao: I decided to purchase a reputable USB to SERIAL leadfrom Ma*lins, while I was on the web site looking at the convertor it said download the driver here, so I clicked the link and downloaded the driver. Thought it would save me time later when I picked up the lead from the shop. Installed the driver and plugged in the lead... problems... as above Out of sheer desperation, I decided to un-install the driver and see if the driver on the CD that came with it was any different. Too bleedin right it is... later version and now my USB to SERIAL cable works like a charm ![]() Many thanks once again guys for all your advice. |

A bit ironic really. Most people do exactly what you did - I know I have. ![]() Download the latest drivers from the website, before the product arrives. Rather than using the out of date one that comes with it. : |
