I actually quite admire the man. OK his c@ble company is sh!t, but at least he has had the guts to stand up to uncle Rupe and told him where he can stick his Werthers Originals, or should i say Sky One and Sky News

No discussion about circumventing cable encryption systems, modifying cable boxes or anything else like that in this thread please

True but he dose seam to use other peoples infrastructure then try to take the credit for everything.

Virgin phone for example uses the O2 network. Sky do have a monopoly in this country and probably always will.

Its actually T-Mobile that Virgin uses for a carrier, thats why you can use Virgin SIM cards in a T-Mobile phone I think your getting confused with 3. They use O2

This is the only infrastructure that they use outside the VM group. They own the rest of the stuff they use like their phone and cable network :?

I couldn't remember if it was T mobile or O2. : ops: Since Virgin took over NTL/Telewst its all gone down hill. You only have to look at a few internet rating sites to see that its not going very well with there internet, they are only just above Talk Talk and Pipex, and as for ther TV, well our neighbours are so fed up with it they are changing to Freeview

I do agree with you in the fact that their TV package is a load of old Tosh and the fact that their phone service is a load of old w**k as well, but i cant complain about their Broadband service

I've had one 1.5 hr outage in 2 years since i connected to them. Its also a load faster than the old 2mb PlusNet ADSL service i had before switching over to cable. I get all 3 services for £20 a month after talking to the "we don't want you to go to Sky" Team.

Mind you though i still want to reiterate that their phone and TV package is s**t but their broadband can't be knocked
